We are a very young and ambitious startup based out of Bengaluru. Our team is a group of engineers and product specialists who are experts in solving payments and fintech problems. The world is witnessing a radical transformation in the banking and financial services sector. We are creating a platform to accelerate embedded finance, specifically in the credit space. We are a well-funded startup who have raised upwards of 10 million dollars, one of the top seed rounds amongst B2B companies in the year 2022. While predominantly from India, we have investors from North America, Europe and SouthEast Asia.

About the Role

We operate at the intersection of banking and e-commerce. As a result, we need to demonstrate both stability and agility while paying a ton of attention to information security. Hyperface develops the product and runs it in challenging environments thanks to these myriad forces. Often, there isn’t a playbook and we end up creating one. SDE-2 role is a critical one for us given the demanding requirements of the business that we are in. Services cannot be prone to error and data must be accurate. Quality of the development is very critical, yet there is a need for a rapid development pace. We would need you to be on your toes, develop high-quality software, show prudence in judgements, show depth in design and work well under pressure.

Job Responsibility

• Breakdown problems and create solutions
• Write clean, readable and reusable code in a timely manner
• Collaborate with senior developers, understand design principles and techniques and effectively implement them in code
• Learn technologies and systems as required with an open mind
• Work closely with the senior developers and product team to implement product functionalities ● Participate in tech design discussions with senior developers and contribute positively
• Document the important aspects of the project/design

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in building applications using any of the popular web frameworks.
• Ability to solve problems in an efficient manner
• Build elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, simple and reusable code
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with unstructured requirements
• BTech / MS / MCA in Computer Science or related field from an engineering college of

repute.
